Penobscot- Yun Kohui Hutchins, 67, beloved wife of John F. Hutchings of Penobscot passed away December 31, 2017. Born in Yeosu, South Korea, she married March 5, 1973 in Seoul, Korea. Kohui was a devout Christian. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, John, father-in-law Oakley Hutchins of Penobscot, dear friend and companion Nancy Patton, 2 brothers, 2 sisters in South Korea, brother-in-law, Bill and wife Melanie Hutchins of Penobscot, several nieces, nephews in the US and South Korea. She was predeceased by her mother and father in South Korea and her mother-in-law Belva Hutchins. She suffered with Kidney failure for many years and was on dialysis for nearly 6 years. She had a kind heart and was a loving wife. Though she suffered greatly, she never complained through out her illness. She will be greatly missed by her husband John and all who knew her. Per Kohui and John’s request there will be no services. Arrangements are under the care of Mitchell-Tweedie Funeral Home and Cremation Services Bucksport. (mitchelltweedie-young.com)
