She was always going out to lunch, bridge or parties and had an active social calendar. Rita was our “Martha Stewart.” She was an amazing decorator and party planner. All of our family holiday gatherings were made very special because each one had a theme and she would go all out in the decorating and each year, the theme would be different. She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and loved to work jigsaw puzzles and her love of Dr. Pepper was known by all that knew her. She loved to garden and always had beautiful flowers that she enjoyed taking care of. She was an amazing painter, artist, writer and especially great at crafts. She was well known for all the amazing things she created and known for her Santa’s.
Rita left us way too soon and will be missed greatly by all that knew and loved her. In lieu of flowers donations in Rita’s memory may be made to your favorite charity or to the JDRF, Arkansas Chapter 11324 Arcade Dr. #16, Little Rock, AR 72212.
